Our Staff

  • Emma McMaugh, Facilitator

One of our most experienced team members, Emma McMaugh never tires of seeing clients overcome life’s challenges to achieve – and sometimes exceed – their goals. “Seeing people go through difficult times is never easy,” Emma said. “That’s why I enjoy helping people unlock their individual qualities so they can take advantage of everything their community has to offer.” The mother of three has a wide variety of qualifications in such diverse areas as disability support, workplace health and safety, person-centred care, and support plan writing. Emma has worked as a learning support officer, in coordinator and supervisory roles, in in-home care and group homes, day programs and respite care.

  • Teena Feringa, Facilitator

One of our most experienced staff members, Teena has worked for HDRC Services for over 10 years. Many people know her through her superb work with our disability program, Let’s Link.

She loves making a difference in her clients’ lives.

“A person living with a disability often feels isolated,” Teena said.

"Seeing someone in a difficult situation can be very challenging. For me, there’s nothing more satisfying than empowering them to achieve goals that are important to them and to get the most out of life.”

In her spare time, Teena enjoys honing her skills as a Qualified Beauty Therapist.
